Sports and orthopedic physical therapy focused on the individual athlete and their specific training and day to day needs. All treatments are one-on-one with a board certified orthopedic physical therapist and a premium is placed on restoring (and improving) mobility, stability, power, and endurance. The philosophy of the clinic is that we want our athletes to rehab and train with a purpose, so a focus on mindset, sustainable movement and training habits is also in play. Typical treatments utilize manual therapies (soft tissue massage, trigger point, dry needling, joint manipulation, etc), supportive taping, muscle stimulation, running and movement analysis, stability and power-focused exercises, pain management and pain re-education strategies, comprehensive Home Exercise Programs via MedBridge, and other techniques where necessary. Every athlete is different, so every treatment is different. The focus is on return to sustainable training and health. Individual care plans vary from 2-6 weeks of focused care on return to sport, to routine maintenance therapies performed weekly or biweekly - the patient will decide what they need from treatment and their Physical Therapist will support them to get what they need.
